When you see something is “free from” that’s usually a good thing, right? After all, if someone has spent the time to tell you that their product definitely doesn’t contain a particular ingredient, that ingredient probably isn’t very good for you.
But what on earth are parabens and why are your lashes, and your eyes, better off without them?

Parabens are a group of chemicals which were historically used in cosmetic products as preservatives, which basically means they’re there to stop bacteria and mould from growing.
