How To Use Eyelash Curlers: A Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Cleanse 

Using a gentle facial cleanser (a few drops of micellar water on a cotton pad works great), give your eyelashes and eyelids a good clean, wiping away any dirt or residue. 

Then do the same for the clamps on your curler, making sure there’s no dust or leftover makeup on them. 

Different from other methods, the eyelash curlerprovides a unique way to enhance your lashes. 

Step 2: Curl 

Take your eyelash curler and place it right at the base of your lashes. Clamp down for 5 seconds. 

Release the clamp, move the curler away from the base slightly and clamp down again for 5 seconds. 

Repeat a third time, moving the curler away further from the base, clamp down for 5 seconds. 

Once you’re finished, you will have given the base, the midpoint and the tips of your lashes a nice curl!

Step 3: Mirror 

Repeat step 2 for both eyes. 

Step 4: Mascara 

Now apply your mascara, one coat or two depending on your preference.
