How to keep your eyelashes clean?

False eyelashes can enhance a bare and boring look in the twinkle of an eye. 🤩🤩

But if you use fake lashes regularly, makeup, dead skin cells, and sebum may build up on the lash band, and this is where the need for cleaning comes in.

Why is it important to clean your false eyelashes?

Proper cleaning is key when it comes to prolonging the lifespan of your false eyelashes. With the right care practices, you can reuse your falsies multiple times.

One of the main causes of dirty eyelashes is the natural oil secreted by our skin. The oil makes your lashes not hold as much and get ruined in no time.

Also, it is advisable to clean your eyelashes regularly to enhance the health of your natural eyelashes. Accumulation of oil, bacteria, and dirt on your fake lashes will cause inflammation of the oil glands, and subsequently, loss of natural eyelashes. 😭

How can I clean my false lashes?

Eyelashes that use glue are cheaper but they usually do not last long. One of the reasons why you may not like using these fake eyelashes is because they are quite troublesome to clean.

Let's take you through the process:

  • You'll need a mild cleanser such as micellar water to dissolve the bond.
  • Use a cotton swab soaked in micellar water and gently run it through the lash band to eliminate the glue.
  • After using the micellar water, apply a plant-based oil, like olive oil, to remove any residual glue.
  • Air-dry lashes and store them.

How can I clean my magnetic lashes?

Magnetic lashes have become sweethearts in the beauty world because they are easy-to-use and maintain, even though they are a bit heavy and uncomfortable. To clean your magnetic lashes, you should:

  • Wash your hands to prevent the spread of bacteria and dirt.
  • Apply some micellar water to a cotton swab and rub it gently on the lashes to dissolve the residue.
  • Allow the lashes to air dry properly and place them in their packs for future use.

How can I clean my eyelash extensions?

Extensions are perfect for anyone who wants to make their eyes look stunning. They also help you to have a natural look.

However, they have their downsides.🙄 False lashes may be expensive and difficult to clean, especially if you use eye makeup often. They are easily damaged by oil, face wipes, and alcoholic cleansers which weaken the eyelash bond.

To clean fake lashes  you need  water or a specially formulated eyelash cleanser..

  • To clean eyelash extensions, you need  water or a specially formulated cleanser
  • Wash your eyes gently at night with little water and pat dry.

In the end, the stress of using an extension may not be worth it. And that's why it is best to go for an alternative, like the water-resistant LinerBond lashes that are easier to use and clean.

How can I clean my  LinerBond™ lashes?

Cleaning your lashes after using the magnificent LinerBond™ eyeliner, is as easy as a walk in the park. 💃

Our favorite at-home remedy for cleaning the LinerBond™ eyelashes is micellar water or the Lid and Lash Cleanser.

  • Dab a little cotton swab soaked in micellar water on your lash band to weaken the eyeliner, and that's it.😘😘
  • Allow the lashes to air dry and set aside for storage.

It is important to treat your fake eyelashes with tender, loving care. With proper cleaning, you can use and reuse your lashes over and over again (approximately 30 times).
