I am shocked at how good and natural these lashes look! And shocked at how long they stay on! They start getting a little loose on the ends at about 7 days. Love these lashes!
and I'm so happy I went with S!lly George. I attempted to do my own lashes once before from Shein and I realized very quickly that it was not a skill I possessed. For years I've just kind of put the idea of getting lashes I could do myself on the back burner, waiting for the technology to get a little better.
Not only did S!lly George have great reviews from first-time users, but they were in a price point I felt comfortable with, knowing I would definitely be messing these up the first time. Which - of course - I did. I started on a Saturday. Sunday, I ended up losing the lashes on the left eye, but I realized that I don't have a lot of natural lashes in the corner of my eye, so that clump didn't quite have a great base to hold onto, and I rubbed my eyes in the shower out of habit, causing them to come right off. My right eye stayed strong.
Now since replacing those lashes, I've only had to redo that very last one, so they've officially been in place for five days, and I don't see them going anywhere in the next few days either. I do use a translucent powder to keep the stickies away - which works wonders - and I did trim them a bit because even though these are a "natural" volume, they're still much longer than my natural lashes and looked a little Cindy Lou Who-ish.
That being said, I do wish they were all just a touch smaller but cutting them before had is not a big deal at all. I love the fact that I haven't worn mascara in almost a full week. I'm still getting used…
I wasn't going to purchase these because of the price, but then I saw that they were nonstick and realized how helpful that would be as I start my lash journey. I'll tell you what, these things are AWESOME! They don't tear apart the lashes and do come unstuck from the glue very easily. I do wish they were slightly thinner, making it easier to pick up the smaller lashes, but as I learn, I've been able to make it work.
The stick-resistant tweezer makes it so much easier to put the lashes on. Glad to have bought it.
I was about to give up on DIY lash extensions when I discovered Silly George. They are so quick and easy to apply. If anyone has tried Infinaluxe these are 100 times better, there’s no mess like with the bond application method, they are softer and so much more comfortable to wear.
