These are my first "pop-on" adhesive lashes, and my first lash extensions that are applied under the lashes. I LOVE THESE THINGS. I've been wearing them for 10 months now. I'd tell you about other lashes I've tried in previous years -- glue-on, and with various different glues; magnetic, etc. -- but all I can say is that they were all very unsuccessful. One time I almost made it to my destination after putting them on. All the other times, I had to take them off before I left the house. I felt like such a lash failure!
Silly George pop-on lashes, however, have been a much different story for me. It takes me less than 10 minutes to put them on. I've learned to apply them first thing in the morning after a shower (and after my natural lashes have dried so that I can curl my natural lashes before pop-on application) so that the adhesive has as much of the necessary 24 hours to "set" before I go to bed that night. That is the single-most thing that has helped me in addition to everything I've read in reviews, etc., and mostly because of my side-sleeping habits.
For application, I use the special Silly George tweezers and a magnifying mirror so that my placement is as perfect as I can get them (without having to risk distorting my eyelid shape by lifting up on my eyelid to see where to place them). I’ve tried a lot of lashes and these are awesome! I’m protective of them in the shower but other than that they are very low maintenance and stay on longer than any other lashes I’ve tried. They also come off (when ready to take them off) easier than any other lashes I’ve tried. This brand knows what they’re doing. It used to be a two hour process of trimming and applying glue and now I can confidently apply them in 10-15 mins in the morning before work and not be scared I’m going to mess it up and have to start over.
